Round-up of the best of Chichen Itza across social media.
Opposites attract. Of that there is no doubt.
Just take Chichen Itza, one of North America’s oldest and most important archaeological sites. The science and mathematical genius necessary to plan and build it, required patience, humility of spirit, and a fundamental understanding of nature. Not exactly the recipe for all things social media. And yet…
Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram love Chichen Itza, especially during the Spring Equinox. That’s why we compiled some of the best social media posts that focused on the famous ruins on March 20 and surrounding days as the social media world collectively gasped, as did the rest of us, when the feathered serpent deity Kukulcan magically appeared as a shadow on El Castillo during the equinox. No wonder it’s one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
So comment below and tell us what you think.
