Showcasing a plethora of incredible cuisine, Beach Bash, Chef Showdown & More…

Palace Resorts hosted top culinary media and influencers at the newly opened The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun, in an effort to showcase its new gourmet culinary offerings and partnership with Certified Angus Beef ®. Certified Angus Beef and it’s premium products of the highest quality are now available for guests of all Palace Resorts properties in Mexico and Jamaica. The weekend began with a beach BBQ at the Beach Club showcasing the various cuts of meat. Guests enjoyed a special menu delicately crafted by Chef Tony Biggs, Director of Culinary Arts of Certified Angus Beef ® together with our Chef Executive Ricardo Cabeza and his excellent team, including Tomahawk Ribs, Flank Steak, Arrachera, Tenderloin, and Prime Rib. Over the course of three days, the experienced foodies indulged in world-class cuisines from some of the top high-end restaurants located at The Grand such as aunthentic Lebanese at “Habibi,”and homemade Italian pastas at “Tavola” and incredible 24 hour room service menu, among others. Foodies also got down in the kitchen with the Chef’s Kitchen Showdown where cooking abilities were highly tested. Each team was responsible for creating a dish that incorporated a special cut of Certified Angus Beef ® and was judged based on presentation, creativity and teamwork. To bid guests a proper adieu, Chef Tony Bigs and Palace Rsorts Executive Chefs prepared a decandent five-course meal that included a variety of delicious cuts of meat, wine pairings ,Tequila & Mezcal an signature desserts by Antonio Bachour.
