WEDDING PASS FOR NON-HARD ROCK HOTEL GUESTS
Price for 2012 is $91.00 USD per person staying at any other resort other than where the ceremony is taking place.
Note: Non-Hard Rock Hotel wedding guests are required to purchase a wedding pass. Palace Resorts reserves the right to limit the number of day passes sold once the property has reached its maximum capicity.
Private functions areas are based upon availability. Due to noice restrictions, private events held in outdoor locations must end by 10:30PM. Indoor private events will incur an additional cost if they pass 12AM.
Private functions, religious ceremonies, music services and tuxedo rentals (not available at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana) must be reserved at least 60 days prior to the wedding date. Restrictions apply to outdoor functions. Please ask your wedding coordinator for details.
Certain private event locations may have additional setup fees associated.
All wedding collections must be reserved in advance. The complimentary package will not apply if requested onsite. All reservations must be booked at least seven (7) days prior to arrival. Mexican registry office is open from Monday through Friday only - no civil ceremonies can be performed on Sundays.
Photography packages are ready within 72 business hours after the ceremony. For couples leaving the day after the wedding, there will be a mailing fee of approximately $69.00 USD. Selected photography packages may require additional time.
Wedding passes for 2012 are $91.00 USD per person, per day and must be purchased for guests not staying at the hotel. Wedding passes are not guaranteed for purchase only on ceremony date. The resort will allo the purchase of wedding passes up to a maximum of 20% of the total number of guests. Example: If you have 20 guests, only 20% of that total can purchase wedding passes, in this case, only 4 guests are able to purchase wedding passes. Wedding passes are subject to availability depending on the occupancy level of the resort. Wedding passes are valid until 11pm and guests with wedding passes must exit the resort by 11 pm. No exceptions may be made.
Outside vendor services (Florists, decor company, audio visual companies, entertainers, etc.) are not permitted on premises. Palace Resorts will provide our couples with a variety of in-house vendors to choose from.
A $500 USD fee will apply to outside photographers. (Fee applies for each external photographer in the case that more than one is brought.)
Payment Policy 2013
VESTIMENTA: formal o semi-formales, no shorts o trajes de baño. Novio pueden llevar pantalones cortos de vestir en la ceremonia. Para los restaurantes seleccionados se aplica código de vestimenta formal.
Política de pago para las colecciones de la boda: Un déposito del 50% del paquete completo es necesaria después de 14 días de la fecha en que se confirma. El pago se debe 45 días antes de la ceremonia. No se aplican rembolsos si se cancela con 30 días antes de la fecha de la boda.
Visa, MasterCard y American Express también es aceptada. Los cheques personales no son aceptados en el resort.

Wedding Information - Punta Cana
- Bride and Groom are required to arrive at the Resort three (3) business days prior to the ceremony.
- Administrative / Government fee of $600.00 will be applied to all civil ceremonies performed by a Justice of the Peace in addition to collection cost.
- If Complimentary Wedding/Vow Renewal ceremony is requested 30 days prior to arrival at resort, a $500 USD fee will apply.
- Complimentary Package does not apply if requested onsite.
- Symbolic weddings are not legally binding ceremonies.
- Depending on selection of requested flowers, additional costs may apply. Please note our onsite flower selection highly depends on the time of year as well as our weekly floral imports. Certain flowers may not be available.
- Couples will be able to open their Bridal Registry once the wedding has been confirmed. Within the Registry, couples may choose from flowers, wedding decor, tours, golf and spa treatments for the celebration to follow. Couples will be able to provide their bridal registry link to all their guests. Couples may also personalize their own wedding site uploading their engagement pictures, favorite songs and much more.

- Depending on photography package chosen, it may take up to 3 weeks to receive. If the couple purchases one of the photography packages, the onsite photographers will be able to provide a CD with your images.
- Upon check-in, couples are required to proceed towards the Honeymoon desk in order to reconfirm their honeymoon package amenities.
- No personal checks will be accepted at the resort.
- Additional charge will apply for extra chairs and linens.
- All items will be non-refundable if cancelled 30 days prior to ceremony.
- Civil weddings must be confirmed 30 days prior to arriving at the resort.

- If divorced, a certified copy of Divorce Decree is required. If divored more than once, please bring Divorce Decree.
- Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation and passport of 2 witnesses. Witnesses must arrive two (2) business days (Monday-Friday) prior to ceremony. Witnesses must be 18 years or older. If witnesses are not available, Hard Rock will provide them at no additional cost.
- Upon arrival, the government of Punta Cana charges a fee at customs in the airport. Please contact your travel provider for further details.
- Bride and grooms must arrive to the resorts at least three (3) business days (Monday-Friday) prior to the wedding ceremony to meet with the wedding planner and submit all documents. Bride and groom must be at the resort by noon or earlier in order to consider day of arrival as the first day.
- The bride and groom must not be legally married in order to qualify for our civil ceremony. If they are already married, only a Symbolic wedding or Vow Renewal ceremony can be performed.
- IMPORTANT - If they bride and groom's nationality is Dominican, additional documents are required. Please advise your wedding coordinator. Names on Green Card, Divorce Decree and Passport MUST be the same, including spelling.
- Copy of all your documents must be sent to your onsite planner at least one (1) month prior to arrival for verification. It is the couple's responsibility to submit a copy of all documents to the onsite planner.
- If divorced less than six months, the legal ceremony cannot be performed. Symbolic ceremonies are available.
All documentation must be translated into Spanishe by the Dominican Consulate office from your country/state of residency. You MUST bring the translated documents; we are not able to translate them at the resort. All translations must have original seal provided by the Dominican Consulate Office.
Please note that Birth Certificates, Divorce Decrees, Death Certificates, adoption and name change documents become the property of the Province of La Alta Gracia, Punta Cana if certified copies are not provided.
A Marriage Certificate is provided by the Province of La alta Gracia, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for civil ceremonies, this is a legal document issued in Spanish. All wedding couples must contact their local court house for filing requirements. Every state/country is different when it comes to filing of foreign marriage documents. Some states/countries require the certificate to be translated from Spanish to English, others may require additional paper work to be filed. This is the couples' responsibility and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is not liable for any additional charges that may be associated according to the state/country's requirements on supplementary paperwork. The marriage certificate will be mailed to the couples directly using the address provided onsite. Due to the civil ceremony processes in Punta Cana, Dominican Repulic the certificate can take up to 2 months to be shipped and a mandatory fee of $69.00 USD will apply.
ALL DOCUMENTS MUST COME WITH AN APOSTILLE.
Wedding Documents Requirements - Catholic Ceremonies
- Certified copy of Birth Certificate of Bride & Groom
- Certified copy of Certificate of Baptism of Bride & Groom
- Copy of Passport of Bride & Groom
- Copy of witnesses' passport
- Name of parents and witnesses
- Home Address and occupation of Bride & Groom, parents and witnesses
- Declaration of single state of Bride & Groom
- All Pre-Cana requirements and classes must be completed by the couple
- Couples must make arrangements at least six (6) months prior to the date of marriage and meet all sacramental requirements
- All Catholic Ceremonies have $500 USD Catholic administrative fee.
- The Catholic Church makes certain requests of the Bride & Groom to help the couples with their spiritual preparation. There is no uniform set of rules for all Catholic Wedding preparations. Therefore, please check with your local parish priest to find out what your dioceses requires for Catholic Weddings.
- Once all requirements have been completed, your local church will provide you with a completino letter that must be presented at the resort.
- IMPORTANT: The priest has final say on granting official permission for the wedding to move forward after seeing the paperwork. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana does not have the authority over religious regulations. (NO EXCEPTIONS).
- Bride & Groom must arrive at the resort at least three (3) working days prior the wedding ceremony to meet with the wedding coordinator and submit all documents. Bride & Groom must be at the resort by noon or earlier in order to consider day of arrival as the first day.
- All documents become the property of the San Dionisio Catholic Church.
THE ABOVE REFERS TO A COUPLE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN MARRIED PREVIOUSLY. IF YOU HAVE BEEN DIVORCED AND YOUR MARRIAGE WAS NOT OFFICIALLY ANNULLED, YOU CANNOT MARRY BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
- All documents including certificate of baptism, declaration of single status and Pre-Cana completion letter must be provided by your local bishop.
- *If Bride & Groom or witnesses are Dominican, a copy of the Cedula must be presented*
- If Bride & Groom are Dominican and wish to be married by a church other than the one they belong to, a special permit must be provided by their church in order to proceed with the ceremony.
- Reservations should be made at least six months in advance to guarantee preferred wedding date. Please note wedding ceremonies must be confirmed with the Catholic Priest and are subjust to his availability. Catholic weddings are preformed Monday through Saturday only.
- All Couples must send their documents three months prior to the wedding date to the Catholic Church. The documents must be scanned and emailed to cath-wedding-dom@hotmail.com.

- In 2013, an Administrative / Government fee of $600 USD will be applied to all civil ceremonies performed by a justice of the peace in addition to package cost. Translation fees for documents will be charged at the resort according to documents and number of pages.
- Renewal of Vows require a fee of $500.00 USD.

Wedding Documents Required - Civil/Legal Ceremonies
- Home address and occupations (Bride & Groom)
- Birth certificates (certified copy of each)
- Valid passports
- Original blood test (to determine Blood type, HIV and STD). Test must be taken at the resort and results are ready within 24 hours. (Fee of approximately $50.00 per person is included in the administrative/government fee.) (If test is positive, a special release must be signed by the couple in order to proceed with the ceremony.
- Certified copy of former spouse's Death Certificate (if applicable)*
- If divorced, a certified copy of Divorce Decree is required. If divorced more than once, please bring each Divorce Decree. If divorced less than one year, mandatory pregnancy test will be required. Additional fee $15.00 USD approximately applies if a pregnancy test is required.
- Legal documentation of adoption or name change (if applicable)*
- Tourist ID (Provided by customs upon your arrival at Cancun International Airport, Puerto Vallarta Airport). Please be sure to complete all information correctly on tourist ID, otherwise you may need to obtain a new Tourist ID at the Airport.
- Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation, passport and tourism ID of 4 witnesses. Witnesses must arrive two business days prior to ceremony. Witnesses must be 18 years or older. If witnesses are not available, Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta will provide them at no additional cost.
- The Bride & Groom must NOT be legally married in order to qualify for our civil ceremony. If they are already married, only a Symbolic wedding or Vow Renewal ceremony can be performed.
- Important - If they Bride or Groom's nationality is Mexican, additional documents are required. Please advise your wedding coordinator at least 3 months in advance. Names on Tourist ID, divorce decree and Passport MUST be the same, including spelling. Please be advised the civil registry department will take th exact name reflected on the Bride and Groom's passport to generate the marriage certificate.
- Civil weddings must be confirmed 30 days prior to arriving at the resort.
Please not that Birth Certificates, Divory Decree, Death Certificates, adoption and name change documents become the property of the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
A marriage certificate is provided by the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico for civil ceremonies, this is a legal document issued in Spanish. All wedding couples must contract their local court house for filing requirements. Every state/country is difference when it comes to filing of foreign marriage documents. Some states/countries require the certificates to be translated from Spanish to English. Hard Rock is not liable for any additional charges that may be associated according to the state/countries requirements on supplementary paperwork.
Ceremony cannot be performed unless all documents are in order. (NO EXCEPTIONS). All documents with the exception of passports become the property of the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
All documents must be translated into Spanish at the resort. In order to do this all, documents presented must be issued in English. If Birth Certificates are not issued in English, please notify your wedding planner. Additional paperwork will apply. Cost may vary depending on number of pages per document.
As of January 1, 2013 a Single Status Declaration will be required for all couples getting married in Quintana Roo. This is proof of single status in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico and has been added by the state government for all weddings. This new legal requirement will have an additional cost which will be included in the $600 USD Governmental fee. Only 1 document will be needed for single people and two documents will be required if either the bride or groom is divorced.
Wedding Documents Required - Symbolic Ceremonies
- Marriage certificate
- Bride and Groom must arrive in Cancun at least two business days prior to the wedding ceremony to meet the wedding planner and submit all documents. Bride & Groom must be at the resort by (3pm) or earlier in order to consider day of arrival as the first day.
If performing a symbolic/vow renewal ceremony it is the responsibility of the couple to get legally married in their hometown whether its pre/post travel.
