Miami, Florida, January 17, 2007 – Palace Resorts, the company that set the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations, has received recent honors from the travel community. 

In its “Fourth Annual Readers’ Choice Awards,” readers of Travel Weekly, the national newspaper of the travel industry, nominated Palace Resorts for the “Best Hotel Chain in Mexico” and “Best All-Inclusive Hotel Chain” where the award was won for “Best Hotel Chain in Mexico.”  These distinctive and widely recognized awards are presented annually in New York City to the industry’s suppliers who led the way in product and service during the past year. The award ceremony was held at the Pierre Hotel on December 14th, 2006.

Additionally, Vallarta Palace, one of Palace Resorts’ newest properties and first venture onto the Pacific coastline of Mexico, was awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award for the year 2007 on December 20th, 2006 in Nuevo Vallarta.  Vallarta Palace joins a select group of AAA Four Diamond winners.  Only 3.25 percent of the estimated 32,000 AAA Rated® lodgings and 3.21 percent of the estimated 28,000 restaurants are awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation each year.  Vallarta Palace is among 74 other 2007 AAA Four Diamond winners for Mexico and one of only three Four Diamond all-inclusive resorts in Mexico.  It is also the only Four Diamond rated all-inclusive hotel in Nuevo Vallarta.
